WHAT TO EXPECT
“I provide candid, contemporary wedding photography for the San Francisco Bay Area with a particular specialization in alternative, vintage-themed & artistic nuptials.”
My wedding clients are inspired by the romantic, nostalgic style of a bygone age. You love quirky styles and simple, elegant beauty. You are modern people with a vintage, bohemian twist. You are in love with beautiful imagery and you are the curators of your world. You are creative and imaginative and see your wedding as a chance to express your personality in a unique and original way. You are alternative. You can be goofy. You can be introverted and shy, or loud and uncontainable. You are unashamedly yourselves. Most of all, my couples are blissfully in love with each other. You are each other’s best friends.
My style is both bold and tender, modern and timeless, edgy and romantic. I mix an editorial feel with a photo-journalistic approach. I feel honored to be a storyteller of love, to document your wedding day and your love story authentically. I lovingly create fine art-style images and can pose you in order to get the best out of your day. I photograph unscripted moments, passion and emotion. And I never forget the details.
My images typically have a high-key look which means there is a predominance of light, bright tones. I use all the following words to describe my style: romantic, nostalgic, delicate, contemporary, airy, whimsical, elegant, timeless.
Building a mutually respectful relationship with every couple I work with is the most important thing about the way I work. It’s imperative you feel comfortable with whoever you choose as your photographer and you dig their style as well as their personality! I insist on meeting you before your wedding day ideally for an engagement shoot. This gives you the chance to see how it feels to be photographed, experience the way I work and of course obtain beautiful images for your save-the-dates, wedding favors and whatever else you can think of! I aim to put you at ease and be a calming presence on your wedding day – and by the time it rolls around, hopefully a friend too.
