What kinds of weddings do you shoot? I specialize in photographing San Francisco City Hall weddings! I love the candid, photojournalistic style of capturing moments as they happen. I have a new website and brand coming your way very soon!

How would you describe your style of photography? Light and bright, romantic and crisp. I love color, whether pastel or brights. I adore natural light and minimalism too, but keeping things real and documenting the way your day not only looked but felt.

What is it like working with you? I keep things fun and silly after the serious business of planning. Each couple is different, so I like to spend some time getting to know you. I work with real people that just want to have a fun wedding! Read about what to expect with your wedding photography experience.

What kind of pricing model do you use? No packages, no upselling – you only pay for what you want. I keep my pricing very simple. Whatever you choose, there is a base price (the minimum number of hours I can offer) and then you simply add on the extras you may want.

How do we know how many hours to book? I create a customized photo planning document for every couple so there’s time for what you value.

What does the typical wedding photography coverage look like? I tell stories through my lens, and love everything from styling the jewelry & getting dressed, to the speeches that make you cry and your uncle’s crazy dance moves. It takes time and creative freedom to capture this authentically. 7-8 hours is usually sufficient.

How far do you travel to photograph weddings? I am based in San Francisco (Mission District) and most of my weddings take place anywhere from Monterey to Yosemite to Mendocino. Travel up to 50 miles from 94103 is included. Further afield requires a customized quote and is welcomed. I’ll travel worldwide.

How do you work at a wedding? I work stealthily. I am an unobtrusive presence for most of the day, posing you during your creative couples’ shoot, and directing during the formal family portraits. I take a candid approach which means you can just do you!

Will you Photoshop me to make me look different? Honestly I am pretty anti-Photoshopping. I celebrate the beautiful way you really are. Tell me if there are things you would like to minimize about your appearance and we’ll do our best to do so on the day. Advanced Photoshop requests incur an extra fee up to $30 per image.

How many images will we receive? A minimum of 50-75 per hour.

How long until I receive the images? Within 2 months. For City Hall weddings, expect your final gallery within 1 month. I deliver a 30-image sneak peek within a few days of your wedding. Read about why it takes as long as it does here!
