I’m delighted to announce the launch of our brand new website! It’s still at zoelarkin.com but ohmigosh it looks so much better now. Don’t ya think?!
So aside from an awesome new design, what else is new?
Well this is the really big news! *Drum roll please* I’m refocusing this brand (www.zoelarkin.com) exclusively on SF City Hall weddings. Yes!
My goal is to become the number 1 San Francisco City Hall wedding photographer of quality.
I want to put these kinds of ceremonies front and center rather than an afterthought.
There is a real opportunity to work with more awesome couples just like you, who value having a photographer who’s more of a friend.
Over time I have become an experienced professional who not only snaps pics but guides couples through the entire process.
I’ll continue to roll out even more targeted, informative content that will help future clients plan and find out about my City Hall photography services.
I couldn’t have done it without my amazing past clients. I’ve built up my knowledge because couples have been generous helping me understand how it all works. It’s been a constant learning that I am committed to developing further.
City Hall is ever-changing with its rules and policies. Sometimes it’s hard to get a straight answer as it varies depending who you ask. With my couples’ help I’ve built a solid understanding that I am confident about offering to my future City Hall clients!
How did I even get here?
I started on this journey quite unwittingly. I had just arrived in the States and got married at City Hall in Providence, RI.
Back in the Bay Area I randomly picked up two second-shooting jobs that happened to be at San Francisco City Hall.
I enjoyed it so I put out an ad on Craigslist seeking other couples who liked the work that I was now able to show. They trusted me to take pics at their ceremonies.
Over the next couple of years things built steadily. So much so that I recently made the decision to put them front and center of my new brand. Read more about my journey here.
Non city hall weddings?
I launched another brand especially for regular weddings all over Northern CA.
It’s called The Pierced Veil (www.thepiercedveil.com) and it’s all about real moments and real people with a photojournalistic approach to the work.
I figured out that’s what I really, really enjoy and my customers were telling me they loved it too.
More and more folks are stepping away from ideas about ‘the perfect wedding’ and just want to throw a fun party that feels true to them and honors their values.
If you’re a future client, nothing changes as far as anything that you’ve booked or what you can expect.
Anything we can do to help?
Share it to your social media channels if you’re into that kind of thing.
Tell a friend, family member or coworker who’s thinking of a City Hall ceremony.
Thank you so much for reading about my new venture. I’m excited and hope you are too!
