Forget you’re being photographed
Weddings are one of the rare moments in life when all the people who shaped you are in the same place. The best parts of the day usually happen in between the planned moments — a quiet conversation, someone bursting into laughter, that goofy cousin.
That’s what I’m always watching for. After hundreds of weddings, I know when to step in and help guide things along, and when to quietly let the moment unfold. This is the art of noticing. And my job is to capture it before it disappears.
more about Zoe
She brought warmth, joy, and so much heart into documenting our wedding weekend. I honestly don't have the words for how incredible the photos came out, she truly outdid herself. Every single one is perfection.—Aishwarya & Nish
Our wedding day was truly perfect. Zoe stayed seamlessly on schedule and captured every moment we hoped for--the romance, the details, the ceremony, cocktail hour, speeches, and all the dancing. —Paige & Nick
Zoe was incredibly professional, communicative, and prepared. The photos blew us away. She captured so many little in-between moments and the full vibe of the weekend. If photos are a top priority, don't compromise. Zoe has the talent, heart, and professionalism to deliver something truly special.—Lizzy & Fletcher
In our initial outreach, we said we wanted these photos to look cool and chic... "like a J. Crew campaign." Upon seeing the final results (a few weeks earlier than expected!), these photos might as well have been published in Vogue Italia..—Jorge & Kenny

Both members of the couple need to sign your contract online (regardless of who is paying). Shortly after, I'll send your invoice link to pay online. You can do 50% down to book and 50% due within 2 weeks of the wedding, or we can do a 4-part payment plan for larger bookings. Full payment is due 2 weeks before the big day.
We continue to collaborate in the run-up to the wedding. I guide you through anything you need and continue to offer timeline support and recommendations for other vendors. We’ll make sure your Photo Planning Doc is complete.

I'm Zoe Larkin. Founder, story-teller, artist, cat mom, urbanite, realist.
Before becoming a wedding photographer, I was many things. An art student specializing in conceptual and performance art. An investment banking employee in London. content marketer for an AI startup in Berlin, failed house renovator in lebrija, spain, nomadic traveler, band groupie, binge drinker, obsessive and long-time documenter of life through photos and journals.
I always knew art was my life’s mission after an awakening at age 16 when I wrote in my diary ‘art's like a sin’. It was obsessive and all-consuming. Even after dissecting my entire artist persona in the form of a tongue-in-cheek, ‘everything must go’ art sale for my art show degree show in 2007, complete with my somewhat satirical but also deadly serious artist autobiography to kill my artist persona, something still lurked. After numerous careers, I received my true calling.
I found my medium, my continuing education: a way to document, understand, and celebrate human connection.
I made my first $10 selling a printmaking piece as part of First Fridays in Oakland in 2014. It meant more to me than everything I earned in investment banking.
Sometime in the intervening decade I made my permanent home in the San Francisco Bay Area, married the guy I met while traveling in the US, and got 2 cats.
People often ask where I’m from. My family is part of the Indian diaspora from Mauritius, where my ancestors arrived in the mid-19th century during the indentured labor era. My parents moved to the UK in the early 70s, and I grew up in St. Albans before heading to London at 18.
My faith has shaped the way I approach this work. I see weddings as a chance to serve people well — to take care of my couples and their families so they can fully enjoy the day together.
This work is sacred, and it is an honor.
