Andrea and Sterling chose the Berkeley Rose Garden for their seriously cute Fall engagement session. Berkeley engagement photos was what they wanted, as they’d scoped out this spot and fell in love with it!
Think gorgeous sunset, crisp leaves flying everywhere, giggles & squeezing, and paper cranes for their upcoming wedding. They would be the first to admit they were a little nervous when we first started out! However it didn’t take more than a few minutes for them to loosen up and forget I was there.
I help couples who may usually have never had pro photos taken before by giving them gentle posing prompts that feel organic, and encouraging the spontaneous, natural interactions between two people in love.
Another way I love to help couples find is to locations that just feel right or have played a part in their story.
Their wedding is coming up in May and that’s also happening in Berkeley. Andrea wanted to show off one of the beautiful paper cranes they’ll be making for the wedding, in honor of Sterling’s Japanese heritage.
The tradition is to make 1,000 paper cranes – read about the history here! Basically anyone who makes 1,000 cranes will be granted a wish by the gods!
