I’m sharing some STUNNING Pacific Heights engagement photos from the engagement session of the wonderful Andrea and Mason! In the spirit of letting the images speak for themselves, I’m going to keep this blog post mercifully short.
Be sure to check out the awesome second part of their shoot at San Francisco’s Baker Beach. This part of the engagement shoot rounded off the set with a more rugged, natural yet playful fee.
In the meantime I have a few other engagement shoots you might want to check out for more info! San Francisco is one of the most stunning backdrops in the whole of the Bay Area for your session. Not only are there iconic landmarks, it’s also very varied. The city boasts thousands of acres of parks, marinas, bridge backdrops, neighborhoods as well as beaches, forests and industrial vibes.
Route of our Pacific Heights engagement shoot
I will just say that Andrea used to live in Pacific Heights at the time she and Mason met. It’s a special place for her and reminds her of the start of their relationship. They are planning a City Hall wedding and a larger celebration on a family property in Napa – but with all the uncertainty right now, it’s a little up in the air.
I arrived early to scout the area we were going to meet, and it turns out the building I chose for its beauty was THE ONE ANDREA USED TO LIVE IN! So, she was extremely familiar with that spot. I found a couple of other areas that worked beautifully for the shoot. The route we followed is below!
You can also click the Google Maps link here to be taken exactly to where we walked! The best part? For the entire Pacific Heights part of this engagement shoot, we only walked a total of 10 minutes, if that! That’s right, all these amazing and varied San Francisco spots are super close together!
What does Pacific Heights have to offer?
- Gorgeous views over the Bay
- Iconic and historic architecture
- View of the San Francisco skyline
- Parks such as Ina Coolbrith Park and my personal favorite, Alta Plaza Park.
- Trim, manicured greenery such as Lyon Street Steps
- Incredible pastel colors, particularly the house colors
- Nature, beautiful plants and flowers
- A quiet neighborhood feel, perfect for introverts!
San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood is home to the famous so-called Billionaire’s Row! If you want to dream about your future pad, this is THE place to do it…! For more info on Pacific Heights (also known as ‘Pac Heights’), check out this cool guide here.
