The beautiful Amador Rancho Community Center in San Ramon is SUCH a great and little-known venue for all types of weddings!
I can see a smaller, low-key celebration happening here, or even a more upscale event like Jacqueline and Asad’s sangeet that took place here in summer last year.
With the help of an excellent wedding planner, they transformed the patio space of the Amador Rancho Community Center into a beautiful outdoor oasis, with exquisite rentals and decorations. Indoors, the buffet stations were set up in the Bella Vista Room.
Guests were free to move freely around the spaces as they ate, dranked, mingled and got mehendi done!
The Amador Rancho Community Center is an affordable East Bay wedding venue, with even more reasonable rates for residents of San Ramon. Let’s dive into photos that I took at this stunning wedding celebration.

Wedding events at Amador Rancho Community Center
This was just one of the couple’s two wedding events, with the grander affair taking place the following day at the nearby Canyon View Event Center. I’ve included the link below with full photos from day 2 of the extravaganza below!
A Sangeet is a pre-wedding celebration in Indian culture, filled with music, dance, and joyful performances.
Traditionally, it marks the coming together of the bride’s and groom’s families in a festive atmosphere, allowing both sides to bond and celebrate the impending union of their loved ones.
In short, it’s all about dancing! This was where everyone really came alive. There were incredible performances from both the bride and groom (and their respective parties), as well as a ceremony with many traditional touches.
For the photography side of things, this event was perfect for the photojournalistic art of wedding photography that we lean heavily into. Where there are multiple events taking place, that gives our team the opportunity to capture all the details and unposed moments as they unfold.
Before all the festivities kicked off, though, we began with some portraits of the bride and groom, families and more, all decked out in their finery as the two-day wedding extravaganza began!
There are beautiful areas surrounding the Amador Rancho Community Center, which are perfect for romantic portraits without having to walk very far. There are trees, newly-paved paths and views of distant hills.
